The current digital presence of artists and brands is largely run as a tool for distributing information to a wide audience and aims at achieving hits, eyeballs, page impressions and other non-revenue measures of success. Many reach between 2 to 4million hits per month.

O-Bit Media's mission is to separate the casual browsers from real fans and then convert these real fans into revenue generating "club" members.

We have been able to provide conversions of anything between 2% and 10% by extending the digital new media presence from a generic information tool to a bespoke "elite" fan-based community offering many unique forms of contact, content and interaction tools for the benefit of your brand and interaction with your fans.

Live events / festivals

This is a great opportunity to start a "conversation" with fans when they are at their most receptive. The chance to offer real value and recruit fans by offering a unique experience that they can get instant fulfillment from at an event, can mean enormous recruitment and conversions with the right creative and project management .

O-Bit Media has worked on a number of live events, from West End theatres to the top music festivals, including the most recent T in the Park festival in Scotland.

An internationally renowned nightclub brand

We took a holistic look at the brand and removed the line between their physical operations and their new media. We designed a coherent product that extended the brand from the real experience and into an online social networking one. This provided a new product that provided real value for money in new product and unique access for their community and new annual revenues for the brand. We took the existing portfolio of products and services, re-packaged and created a coherent strategy for them globally, using the new extensive database.

The target was to achieve a more than 2% conversion of their 1.5m hits into a paying community at between £2 and £4/month. However, after the initial conversion is when O-Bit Media starts to really add value. We continue to work with the client on a long-term basis.
